Journée du Jeu Stratégique sur la Biodiversité

When games are applied to real-life situations people are given a model to increase their understanding of the multi-stakeholder complexities that often cloud their ability to make the right decisions. In other words, games allow decision-makers to gather the necessary collective intelligence to improve their collaborative problem-solving abilities.

With the help of Dr. Claude Garcia, Pilot Projects and Trinity Centres will showcase how strategy games can tackle topics related to conserving and restoring biodiversity. COP visitors and local NGOs will compete and collaborate to better understand participatory stakeholder engagement and mapping for biodiversity conservation and restoration.

Drop-in audience participation will be encouraged throughout the day to observe, encourage, and raise the stakes for all players involved.

Additional information:

The event includes a free lunch and time for attendees to hear from Dr. Claude Garcia and others about the practical application of their strategy games.
