Workshop while using recycled materials and natural earth pigment paints, Canadian artist Angela Marsh and participating children transform up-cycled chairs to reflect the complexity that is the biodiversity of life. The silhouettes of threatened and vulnerable animals carry the children's messages to leaders. Set around the table where decisions are made, the Chair of Generations gives voice to children. It reminds that decisions taken today shape their future. The Chair of generations embodies one of the engagements from the Kunming Declaration, to promote the integration of the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity into decision-making. A Chair of Generations will be exhibited at the Maison du Développement durable for the duration of COP15. Mères au front ¦ For our kids is a diversified and decentralized nationwide movement that gathers mothers, grand-mothers, and all who wish to protect the future of our children. Their actions are pushed by the deep desire to act on multiple issues to protect future generations and the life on Earth against the rising threat of global warming and the degradation of ecosystems.
