In French and English. Open to all. As part of the CollectifCOP15 this conference and round-table will discuss the biodiversity and ecological value of the natural environments of the Montreal Technoparc and adjacent federal lands, north of Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Located at the limits of the borough of Saint-Laurent and the City of Dorval, 215 continuous hectares of green space remain unprotected. The vast majority of the land is owned by the federal government with a few dozen hectares owned by the City of Montreal and private interests. Over 200 species of birds have been documented on site. Over 25 municipalities and boroughs have unanimously passed resolutions calling for the site's protection.
